A hand-painted fish sign and bright red door welcome you to Prince Edward County's newest gallery, Small Pond Arts. This charming studio is all colour, walls covered with the vibrant paintings of Milé Murtanovski. Drop by on a sunny afternoon and you'll likely find the artist at his easel, twirling his moustache as he paints. Along with evocative portraits, the diverse works gracing the studio include classic cars, birds on boughs, Victorian architecture - any subject that might be considered beautiful. Milé's passion is for finding the artful in the everyday, with lots of style and not a hint of snootiness.

Gallery hours: 11am-6pm, Wed. to Sun. May 1 until December 24; other times by chance or appointment.
